Anna Silk

Anna Silk (born January 31 1974) is Anna Silk (born January 31, 1974) is a Canadian actress who is most well-known for her character Bo from the Showcase television series Lost Girl. Silk was made in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, an acclaimed actor, director, producer, playwright as well as Director of Drama of Drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to the play school and watching her mom do her job. Silk appeared as a little actress in commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was conferred from St. Thomas University, 1997. Early theater work includes at the very least two productions for Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk was moved to Toronto Canada in the month of November of 1999, to keep acting. After that, she relocated to Los Angeles California during the subsequent decade. Silk met her spouse, Seth Cooperman, at an Actor's training located in Los Angeles in 2007. In December 2009 they married after a civil wedding ceremony. The couple got married in Fredericton on April 10th the couple renewed their vows, following Silk's decision to convert to Judaism. Silk Cooperman's birth took place in May 2013, a son called Samuel Jerome Cooperman. Levi Aaron, her second child was born May 13, 2016. Silk's work on television includes the role of Cassidy Holland in Being Erica for which she received an Gemini Awards nomination in 2009. She was given the role of Bo Dennis the succubus on the Canadian show Lost Girl in 2009. Silk was pregnant during final production of the season 3 finale and announced this to the viewers during the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special on 6 January 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th 2013 that the series was returning to its production. Fourth season began on June 4th 2013 by Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. CNN has named Bo's character alongside Lauren (Zoie Palermo) in Lost Girl one of the most talked about TV couples ever. E! voted it as top TV couple of 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows on the social networks.
